What this work was about

I led a small application project designed to help job seekers draft personalized cover letters, combining hands-on engineering with team organization and delivery planning.

The problem to solve

The idea required a simple mobile experience supported by dynamic text generation, dependable backend calls, manageable costs, and an engineering process that could be coordinated across contributors.

How I approached it

• Coordinated recruiting, team responsibilities, milestones, budget, and stakeholder communication.
• Built Flutter / Dart screens and worked with Android development tooling.
• Integrated an OpenAI-powered text generation workflow.
• Set up and tested backend operations, including a Linux environment and Postman, and later used Firestore for scalability.

What it taught me

Useful AI products require much more than a model call: UX, reliability, delivery management, technical decisions, and iteration all matter.
