01 / Overview

What this work was about

Swifant connects customer-facing design with the less visible engineering needed to keep a growing digital catalogue reliable. I worked across frontend experience, the supporting Python API, infrastructure, automated delivery, documentation, and product visuals.

02 / Challenge

The problem to solve

The brief required more than a visually appealing storefront. The catalogue needed repeatable data management, realistic product exploration, accessible browsing, dependable customer workflows, and a deployment process that could be recovered quickly when something went wrong.

03 / Approach

How I approached it

  • Built a responsive React / Vite interface with structured navigation and bilingual product discovery.
  • Organized a catalogue covering 374 jewellery variants, with consistent gallery assets and repeatable validation checks.
  • Developed Three.js concept tools, including an interactive ring customization studio and live 3D preview pilot for 65 variants.
  • Connected a Python API for consultation bookings, design enquiries, try-at-home requests, and administration.
  • Configured Hetzner Ubuntu, Nginx, HTTPS, domain setup, and deployment scripts with validation, staging, rollback, and backups.
04 / Outcomes

The value and the result

374Catalogue variants
653D preview pilot variants
Catalogue, enquiries and booking workflows are presented as current scope. Payment checkout is not described as a live feature; 3D previews are visual concepts, not manufacturing CAD.
05 / Perspective

What it taught me

The real achievement is an end-to-end product workflow: design, application logic, content, infrastructure, quality checks, and the operational discipline to keep them working together.
